Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone! My resolutions for this blog in 2006 all concern developing our community. Specifically, I hope we can:
- Develop, as Delvin Grant at DePaul suggested last year, a list of critical success factors for the MIS class
- Create and begin to fill a repository of teaching resources. Bob Grauer has developed some Access projects that I want to get on the site, but I have to solve the problem of how best to allow for the download of large files. Besides that, though, I'd like to include more and more MIS teaching resources from others.
- Another resource to share is videos of our best lectures. John Lundin promised to do that and I hope to hold him to his promise. That should be just the start in sharing videos and podcasts with one another.
- Finally, I want to learn a lot more about using groups and group exercises. Roy Dejoie at Purdue has a wealth of knowledge on that topic that I hope we can tap into.
If we could do all of that I think we could call it a great 2006!
